Community Events

Foxworthy Baptist Church has long been a hub for community activties. Along with hosting many different groups including AA and Girl Scouts, we offer several events each year to welcome our friends and neighbors to our campus. These events include our annual BBQ & Brass evening, the Fall Bible Conference, the annual Harvest Festival and the Christmas musical production. In the summer, we offer special events for kids including Vacation Bible School and Fine Arts Camp.

NEIGHBORHOODO HARVEST FESTIVAL
The annual Harvest Festival is a safe and fun place for kids and families to spend the evening on Halloween. Jump houses, games, crafts, food & drinks, s'mores, a petting zoo and train rides will make this an event to remember. Also, they'll leave with lots of candy. The event takes place in the front parking lot of the church, 6-8pm.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX GIFTS
Foxworthy Baptist Church has served as an area collection center for Operation Christmas Child for over 20 years. From November 18-25, we will receive and process around 20,000 shoeboxes. They will be packed into cartons and loaded onto trailers to begin their journey to distant parts of the world. In 2024, Samaritan's Purse hopes to send out 12 million shoeboxes to share the love of Jesus in a tangible way. You can pack a shoebox yourself and bring it by the church or go online and "pack" a virtual shoebox at: https://www.samaritanspurse.org/buildonline

The 41st Annual CHRISTMAS GIFT to SAN JOSE musical
For the past 40 years, Foxworthy Baptist Church has shared the joy of the season and the Hope found in Jesus with the community through a fully-staged and choreographed, Broadway-style musical production. Join us December 13-15 for one of the 5 free performances. Come and sing along with your favorite Christmas songs. See many of your favorite Christmas characters including Frosty, Rudolph and the Grinch. It is fun for the entire family.
